Siblings in Turboranger

Hi, everyone. Today, I would like to talk about siblings in Turboranger. The reason I have brought up this topic is because I have siblings myself, and I am particularly close to my youngest older sister, who is 2-year apart from me. For this reason, I’d like to at least have one article about siblings, though I may write more in the future. Anyway, these are all the siblings I can find in Turboranger, unless I miss any.

-) Shunsuke Hino and Shunji Hino

My absolute favorite siblings in the series. Even though Shunji, Shunsuke’s little brother, only appears in one episode (episode 18), we can still see how much Shunsuke and Shunji loved each other. We can also tell that Shunji looked up to his older brother, and he was probably proud of him too. Moreover, it seems that they spent a lot of time together. When Shunsuke has a flashback, he was wearing a uniform, which means that as soon as he returned from school, he met up with his little brother to have some fun together.

It is hard to believe that Shunsuke is an older brother, considering how childish he is. Nonetheless, I love watching Shunsuke and Shunji together. It is ashamed that Shunji had to die in such a young age. Personally, I love this pair of siblings, because I do not have a brother, and I have always wondered how it feels to have one. If I were Shunji, I would definitely be proud of Shunsuke too, because he is such a reliable, fun, and awesome brother.

-) Hyoma and Enma

Another pair of brothers (episode 18). Even though Hyoma seems to be more mature than Enma, they look like they could be twins in my opinion. These siblings also have a tragic fate, due to Jamin’s evil plot and trick. It is too bad that they fall for Jamin’s scheme, but at least they do it, because they care for each other very much. They end up dying in the end, but they are not gone forever, because they have transformed into beautiful flowers.

Personally, I don’t really like this pair, but I don’t hate them either. To be fair, their relationship is very down-to-earth. They argue, fight, and misunderstand each other. I am sure everyone who has siblings have experienced the same thing, so we can relate to them. Nonetheless, as I said before, they do what they do, because they care for each other very much. In the end, they reconcile and end up being together forever.

-) Misa and Hiroshi

Misa is Hiroshi’s older sister and Hiroshi is Misa’s younger brother (episode 5). Haruna encounters them by accident when they are cleaning up the pond. The siblings live with their grandfather, and they seem to love their grandfather very much that they are willing to get involved with PeroPero Boma despite of the consequences. Since they only appear in one episode, it is hard to say what kind of siblings they are. Nonetheless, we can tell that Misa loves her brother, since she agrees to play along with Hiroshi and trick Haruna. In a sense, what she does is indeed wrong. She is an older sister, and she should know better. If her brother is wrong, she needs to either rebuke him or tell her grandfather about it. However, as I said earlier, I am sure Misa does what she does, because she loves her family. Besides, she learns from her mistake afterwards. Let’s just hope that they won’t get involved with more Boma Beasts in the future.

-) Misa Yamaguchi and Mika Yamaguchi

Misa is Mika’s older sister and Mika is Misa’s younger sister. I have to say that both Misa and Mika are not my favorite characters in Turboranger, but their relationship is the closest one with mine, because they are sisters, just like my sister and me. Again, they only have one episode to show their relationship as siblings (episode 36), but we can tell from this one episode how much Mika loves and cares about her sister. She even comes all the way from Hong Kong just to threaten the five rangers, because she thinks that they are the cause of her sister’s misery. In the end, though, she has finally realized the reasons why Riki and the others do what they do, so she can return to Hong Kong in peace.

Here is a fun fact. Mika is able to see Seelon with naked eyes (though not completely), due to her believing heart, but her sister, Misa cannot see Seelon unless she wears the fairy goggles invented by Dr. Dazai. In the end, however, both of them have the opportunity to see Seelon at least once.

-) Risa Sawamatsu and her siblings

Risa is a transfer student, and she has two little sisters (episode 7). I cannot say much about these siblings, because they only appear once, and Risa’s little sisters are just minor characters here. But since this article is about siblings, I feel that I have to include them as well. They are actually the most unique and interesting siblings among all, because they are the only one with three siblings. Looking at the broken picture frame below, it seems that they are a happy family, and the three sisters seem to be close to one another.

That is all for today. If I miss anything, I will update this article in the future. Thank you for visiting as always.
